    At Collective Soul, we believe in empowering women; and we are proud to bring our Prenatal Fitness classes to the community! These classes bring a unique fusion of fitness and education to our pregnant clients. Led by a pre and postnatal fitness specialist and registered nurse, we educate expectant moms on the value of proper body mechanics, the fundamentals of strength training, coordinated breathing, and how it all relates to a better pregnancy experience and smoother delivery. Don’t give up on yourself, mama. We believe in you, and we are here to support your fitness before, during, and after pregnancy.

    Goals

    • Increase muscular strength which will aid in faster recovery and smoother pregnancy experience
    • Educate mothers on the importance of proper body mechanics, the fundamentals of strength training, coordinated breathing, and how it all relates to a more positive pregnancy experience, smoother delivery, and quicker recovery
    • Prepare moms for the work of postpartum and new parenthood

    Structure

    The Prenatal Classes are broken down into a two phased structure: Prenatal 1 and Prenatal 2. Wherever you are at in your pregnancy will determine your placement into one of these two classes. We will take into account how far along you are, and how big your belly is. Prenatal 1 is for mamas who are in the earlier stages of pregnancy, and/or do not need modifications for belly size yet. Prenatal 2 is for mothers who are further along and/or need exercise accommodations for belly size. There are a few other differences between the classes such as intensity, types of core work, and focuses of education.

    If needed, moving from Prenatal 1 to Prenatal 2 will be decided between you and the coach, Madi. Around 20 weeks, or once your belly “pops” is roughly when you will be moved from Prenatal 1 to Prenatal 2 if needed. Everyone’s body is different, and every pregnancy is different.

    Pricing

    Drop-In – $25/class

    12 Class Pass – $275

    6 Class Pass – $140

    OPTIONS

    Prenatal Class – 1-40 weeks

    Postnatal Class – min 6 weeks postpartum

    TIMES

    Tuesdays and Fridays at 4:30pm

    → Preregistration is required for these classes. Minimum 3 clients, max 5 clients.
